The Schedule tab adapts its clinical vocabulary to the selected profession:

Across professions, a typical encounter follows the same path:

1. Schedule. Create the encounter and link it to a patient.
2. Transcribe. Confirm the consent attestation, start transcription, and review the live transcript.
3. Review the generated note. Maestra writes a structured note from the transcript and selected template.
4. Ask the assistant. Use the profession-specific assistant for questions about the current encounter and relevant context from the same patient.

Sensitive transcript text, generated notes, summaries, assistant messages, and financial field values are encrypted on-device before storage and sync. Plaintext needed for transcription and AI features passes transiently through the relay and contracted processors.

Note

New accounts receive the configured trial. After it ends, existing records remain readable and exportable. Pro-gated actions prompt for a subscription. See Subscription and plans.
