If you forget your encryption password

1. Sign in to the account.
2. On Enter Encryption Password, choose Forgot password?.
3. Enter the recovery key. Spaces and letter case are normalized.
4. Enter and confirm a new encryption password between 8 and 128 characters.
5. Tap Send.
6. On Verify Encryption Password Reset, enter the emailed code and tap Verify.

A successful reset unwraps the existing data key through the recovery path and protects it again with the new encryption password. Existing encrypted records and the recovery key stay unchanged.

Danger

If neither unlock secret is available, Maestra cannot recover the encrypted records. Support can help with account administration but cannot derive the missing key.
