Search

Maestra currently exposes search inside list surfaces rather than a global full-record search.

Patients

The Patients list matches the locally decrypted patient name. Matching is case-insensitive, accent-insensitive, tolerant of close spelling, and supports partial text. It does not currently promise search by identifier, tax ID, contact fields, custom fields, or clinical content.

Encounters

Open the Schedule list view to browse encounters by date and filter them by the linked patient’s name. It does not search transcript text, generated notes, practitioner notes, reason summaries, or treatment summaries.

Search over sensitive values runs in the unlocked client. Readable structural dates can still support list ordering and date browsing.

Note

The assistants can retrieve question-relevant context from one patient’s encounter corpus for an answer. That is not a user-facing global search index and does not search across unrelated patients.
