Encounter Assistant
The assistant name follows the profession: Visit Assistant, Session Assistant, or Nutrition Assistant. Open it from an encounter overview or during live transcription.
For each question, the client can provide the current patient record, prior visits with an available generated note or summaries, the current generated note, practitioner notes, the current transcript, and question-relevant excerpts retrieved from that patient’s encounter history. During a live encounter, the newest transcript segments can be included.
The client sends the question and assembled readable context transiently through the relay and contracted AI processor to generate the answer. User and assistant messages are encrypted on-device before persistent storage. They remain scoped to the encounter and appear in its transcript timeline.
Use follow-up questions to refine an answer. The service applies plan message limits and can surface a limit or processing error instead of an answer.
