Welcome to Maestra
Maestra is a practice management app for healthcare professionals on iPhone, iPad, Android, and web. It adapts key labels to the selected profession:

These guides use encounter and generated note in explanations that apply to every profession. Procedures quote the actual label variants when a control changes.
Maestra helps you:
- Keep patient details, contacts, custom fields, documents, and histories together.
- Schedule encounters and link them to patient profiles.
- Transcribe audio and review a live transcript.
- Generate a structured note from the transcript and your selected template.
- Search the Patients, Schedule, and patient-history surfaces on-device.
- Ask the encounter assistant or Patient Assistant questions within their documented context.
Encryption and processing boundaries
Section titled “Encryption and processing boundaries”Sensitive patient, clinical, and financial field values are encrypted on-device before storage and sync. Maestra’s database stores ciphertext for those values. Readable account and structural metadata remains available for authentication, relationships, scheduling, and subscription coordination.
Features that need plaintext, including transcription, note and assistant generation, patient import, assistant retrieval, and PDF rendering, send only the necessary request payload transiently through the Maestra relay and contracted processors. The relay does not log or retain the clinical payload.
